Jack Crevalle

While the Jack Crevalle may not be the highlighted species on any Travel Creel trip, we do NOT disrespect them around here. Jack’s are just as aggressive as anything, move in packs, and destroy flies when given the chance.

Once you see a group you are on the clock! Jacks do not tend to stay in the same area for long. See them, and cast quick!

Some dismiss the fish because of the fight. Those people simply don’t enjoy a hard take, spitting drag, and a long battle with a fish. That is exactly what the Jack provides.

You can fish for Jacks with a plethora of flies ranging from mullet to anchovies to crabs to squid!
