We are stoked to welcome Ryan back to host our Venice trip in 2027! Join us at the edge of the earth for this epic Redfishing adventure!
A major perk this location has to offer?
No daily fishing shuttles needed. Our guide crew picks anglers up right on the lower back deck! Head into the Mississippi River Delta for easy access to incredible inshore redfishing.
Post up near the mouth of the Mississippi, head into the marsh or cruise among the nearby barrier islands in search of your next tailing Bull Red. Our guide team will expertly lead you through the delta on skiffs, lining you up for the next cast.
Fly into Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport within the desginated windows, and we’ll handle EVERYTHING ELSE!! Your job?

your Typical Day in Venice:
6:00 am - Coffee’s up, enjoy a cup on the upper or lower deck.
6:30 am - Load up your breakfast plate and soak in the sunrise. Finish up and stash some snacks in your Creel Chef packed Yeti lunch bag, add a local brew or two and gear up.
7:30 am - Our guide team will pick you up right on the lower deck of the lodge. Head out for an epic day of fishing.
3:30 pm - Boats arrive back at the lodge, pour yourself a celebratory cocktail. Freshen up and relax.
5:30 pm - Dig into your Creel Chef’s appetizer spread and sit down for dinner.
7:00 pm - Top off your cocktail, kick back on the decks, enjoy the sunset and head back to your room for some rest.

The Creel Crew prepares each dynamic meal using locally sourced ingredients. The Gulf Coast and Mississippi River delta offer an incredible assortment of delicious saltwater treats. Our team combines Southern hospitality and cuisine with our own signature brand of Travel Creel Hospitality no matter where we go. We’ve gathered a team of dedicated folks who love great food and fly fishing as much as our guests do, happy to play their part in this dynamic Louisiana adventure!
