We create our pop-up in a sprawling compound in the Bywater District. Loaded with the amenities of a hotel, our Big Easy program is curated with our anglers in mind from beginning to end. Within walking distance of the lively French Quarter and Bourbon Street, anglers are welcome to meander the city in the afternoons and evenings to catch live music or devour a plate of beignets. After all, when in New Orleans….
We team up with the best guides on the bayou to get after the massive schools of Bull Reds that come BLASTING through the bayou. Come along as a member of the Creel Crew for another epic adventure out on the marsh - with big city comforts!
Savor the views as you watch the sun rise along the 40-minute shuttle ride to the boat ramp. Our guides meet us at the Hopedale Marina then head off to find tailing Redfish, hungry Black Drum and plethora of other Bayou critters.
It’s a hunters game as you hug the muddy banks looking for a tailing fish or a cruiser in search of their next meal. Make sure that you see the fish before you cast… Land your fly on their back and a cloud of mud is all you see as they spook out. But don’t worry- there is another willing eater just around the next bend!
On your afternoon return to the dock, our shuttle vehicles will be waiting stocked with soda, beer, snacks and A/C for your ride back to the city. Back at the house, get cleaned up and pour a cocktail, relax until your Creel Crew puts up appetizers and dinner.
End the evening with a cigar by the pool, take a stroll through the historic French Quarter or catch some local live music on Frenchman’s St. This unique experience combines Bayou fishing with lively city happenings, comfortable accommodations and top notch hospitality. A true Creole Creel experience!
Typical Day in Nola:
5:00 am - Coffee is up, grab your cup.
5:30 am - Get your Grab-&-Go breakfast, top off your Creel Chef packed lunch bag with snacks from the treat table.
6:30 am - Load into the shuttles for our sunrise drive to the boat ramp.
7:30 am - Guides are waiting for us at the dock, jump in the boats and head out for your day of fishing.
3:00 pm - Boats arrive back at dock, load into our shuttles, enjoy a beer or canned cocktail on the way back (open containers are legal in NOLA), maybe even make a stop at a drive-thru daiquiri stand on the way back is in store.
5:00 pm - Freshen up from a long day out on the Bayou, relax for a bit on the rooftop deck or on the cozy couch.
5:30 pm - Congregate around the kitchen island for appetizers as cocktails will start (or continue) flowing, then sit down for an epic Gulf Coast dinner spread.
7:00 pm - Choose to call it an early night or hit the town for some NOLA nightlife! We stay within a stones throw of endless offerings. Just remember… Morning comes quick!

The Creel Crew prepares all your meals using locally sourced ingredients. The Gulf Coast has incredible treats that our team will gather up for you, pulling out all the stops to keep you full, but still wanting more. For your final night in NOLA, we invite over all the guides and other local honorary members of our Creel Crew for a big celebration, A truly epic ending to a spectacular week!

We welcome individual anglers, and we will pair you up for room and guide assignments. Single rooms are available on a limited first to reserve basis for an additional fee.
