Anglers need to book a flight to arrive at Buenos Aires International Airport, named Ministro Pistarini International Airport (EZE) BY AT LEAST to 9 am on the start day of the trip.

It is recommended due to the long distance of necessary travel to arrive the day/night prior, and overnight in Buenos Aires (BA).

We are happy to assist with booking an overnight stay in Buenos Aires. Anglers should choose a hotel/Airbnb that is within about a 20 minute drive from the domestic transfer airport, Jorge Newberry (AEP). This allows us to best ensure that the ground transfer we will book for you over to AEP will be timely and smooth.

We will book the ground and air transfers you will take over from Buenos Aires to Corrientes, and invoice you for this connection once booked. We’ll send you an online form to fill out with your booking details to facilitate this. This transfer will depart around noon on your trip start day. It is a short flight over to Corrientes, where our partner, Set, will have a driver waiting to load you all up!

WE RECOMMEND ARRIVING - AT LEAST - THE DAY/NIGHT PRIOR TO YOUR TRIP START DATE.

However, if you prefer to arrive the day of your trip start date, your flight must arrive to EZE NO LATER THAN 9 AM.

It can take up to 3 hours to retrieve luggage and clear customs and immigration, exit the airport and get a taxi to AEP.

If you choose to fly into Buenos Aires the morning of your trip start date, you will need to secure a taxi from EZE when you arrive, to transfer over to AEP for the flight to Corrientes.

The portion from AEP to Corrientes will be arranged by us, and the cost of any ground/air transfer that we arrange for anglers is NOT included in the price of your trip package.

The cost of transfers will be invoiced separately once booked. We will send you the Travel Details form, which will provide us the necessary info so that we can book your ground/air transfers through a local travel agency, who can secure our group bookings.

The maximum cost of this for each angler will be $450, and we will make every effort to keeo the cost as low as possible.

A grab and go breakfast will be prepared on the morning of departure.

Please book your flight to depart from Buenos Aires, departing out of EZE either:

1) The morning AFTER the trip end date

OR

2) After 6:30 pm on the trip end date if flying back out of AEP (may be able to begin your international journey home through this airport) or after 8 pm if flying out of EZE (there are more options for late departure international flights).

We are traveling to somewhat remote locations in a foreign country. While we cannot require our anglers to purchase trip, travel or emergency medical evacuation insurance, we cannot stress the fact that it is much better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it. 

We recommend purchasing a policy for emergency medical evacuation coverage that provides at least $250,000 worth of medical transport and treatment, to be used in the unlikely event of an emergency. We feel it is best to purchase this type of policy from one of the very few companies that offer this coverage without excluding any of the sporting activities that we will be partaking in during our Argentina fly fishing adventure.

For trip/travel insurance, some credit cards offer coverage for the primary cardholder. Check with your credit card company in advance to learn how to take advantage of any offered coverage, along with what is, and isn’t, required in order to utilize these benefits. 

Any trip, travel and emergency medical evacuation (not standard US health insurance) policy information should be shared with TCH by including your plan/policy/membership information in your Travel Info Form response or sharing directly with Samantha. We will note this information in our internal records, and may share this with our local partners. This is done to ensure we have the necessary information should it be needed during your trip.

Our top priority is the safety and enjoyment of each of our anglers. We cannot, however, guarantee that we are able to make the accommodations if they in any way could potentially cause further harm to anyone, or could inhibit the operations that TCH and/or our local partners deem necessary.
