SAVE THE DATE DEPOSIT TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These Save the Date Deposit Terms and Conditions (the "Agreement") are entered into by and between Travel Creel Hospitality ("Company"), with a registered business address of 642 Park Glen Drive, Windsor, California, 95492, and the undersigned client ("Client"). By paying any requested deposit, Client explicitly agrees to the following terms:
1. Save the Date Deposit
To secure and reserve the agreed-upon date(s) for Company’s private chef and/or event planning and hospitality services, Client shall pay an initial deposit. YOUR EVENT DATE IS NOT CONFIRMED UNTIL YOUR DEPOSIT HAS BEEN RECEIVED IN FULL.
This initial deposit allows the Company to block the corresponding date(s) and ensure that the required staff and/or facility/facilities are secured (if/as needed).
2. Applying Your Initial Deposit
Any deposit(s) paid to the Company will be applied toward the final/full payment for the event. Private chef and event services are priced individually. Once an amount for services and the event menu are agreed upon, a final Event Agreement (sent by the Company), signed by all relevant parties, and a 50% event deposit are BOTH required to be received by the Company in order to continue saving the event date(s).
For service engagements billed more than 120 days from the event date/start date, a 50% deposit will be required from the Client. Any initial save the date deposit paid by the Client will be applied to the Client’s final payment invoice.
For service engagements billed less than 120 days from the event date/start date, the Client’s payment is required in full and any initial save the date deposit paid by the Client will be applied to the Client’s full payment invoice.
3. Menu & Event Planning
No menu or event planning will begin until the initial deposit has been received by the Company and the Client has agreed to the terms and conditions in this Agreement. An initial questionnaire will be provided and/or reviewed by the Company for/with the Client in order for the Company to gather the necessary details to provide the Client with an accurate cost estimate.
Event services are engaged based on a cost estimate. Final payment invoices will be adjusted as needed for additional services and products requested by the Client after the Event Rate has been set. The Company will not alter the rate of their services after an Event Agreement has been signed and any required event deposit is paid, unless required and requested by the Client or if additional services/products/guests are added by the Client. Requests to add services/products/guests will be required in writing.
4. Non-Refundable
The Deposit represents the reservation of Company's exclusive availability and the reservation of specific operational resources. Accordingly, if this Agreement or the scheduled services are canceled or terminated by the Client for any reason, the $5,000.00 Deposit is strictly non-refundable.
5. Cancellation and Credit Policy
In the event of a Client cancellation, the Deposit may be converted into a service credit toward future Travel Creel Hospitality bookings, subject to the following conditions:
Administrative Fee: A non-refundable fee equal to 30% of the Deposit ($1,500.00 USD) will be deducted immediately upon cancellation to cover operational, administrative, and scheduling overhead.
Remaining Credit: The remaining balance of $3,500.00 USD will be held by Company as a rolling “Creel Credit”.
Redemption: This credit must be applied toward an eligible, mutually agreed-upon future event or service booking within twelve (12) months of the original canceled date. Any credit not utilized within this timeframe will be forfeited.
In the event of cancellation initiated by the Company, the Client is entitled to a full refund (in electronic form/by check) of any and all money paid for the cancelled services/products/event.
6. Final Agreement Execution
This Agreement strictly governs the initial reservation of dates. Comprehensive details regarding menus, staffing, final pricing, invoicing schedules, and standard liability clauses will be finalized in a separate, formal Event Agreement provided by the Company to the Client.
7. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
8. Entire Agreement
This represents the entire agreement entered into by the undersigned parties at this point.
