Your private Creel Chef will be along for the entire journey, as we average 2 days in each of the 3 areas within Patagonia. Enjoy our signature style of top-notch hospitality, while being immersed in the unique Chilean culture. Rather than spend long days driving distances to fish different waters, this itinerary allows for us to take short drives and overnight in hotels and lodges with the most comfortable accommodations.
Our trip begins the moment you arrive in beautiful Chaiten. In order to experience 7 days of fishing, our team will meet you at the airport, then you’re only a short drive away from your first cast! The first two days are spent around Yelcho, followed by fishing for 2 days around Rosselot/Figueroa, finishing off your trek around La Junta, before beginning your journey home out of Chaiten.

Each meal will be thoughtfully prepared with the best ingredients the region has to offer. Your daily menu will feature a mix of locally inspired, traditional Chilean cuisine and Creel Chef favorites. You won’t just fish your way through Patagonia - in true Travel Creel style, you will eat your way through, too.
Our team arrives ahead of you at each lodge/hotel that you will overnight at, setting up your digs and firing up your next meal.
From Asado (a Chilean barbecue dish featuring grilled meats) to freshly baked empanadas, our Patagonia guide team will assist your private Creel Chef in preparing and serving each meal. Lunches enjoyed river and lake-side are unpacked and served on tables set up by your guide, with some even cooked up on the spot!
