Scallop Crudo

This is Joe’s Favorite. A creel classic because of its ties to Maine, stripers, and local resources. Fresh scallops, beautiful olive oil, and some seasoning turn this simple ingredient list into something special. This dish is a perfect example of how to elevate an evening in Maine

Ingredients:

1 lbs fresh, cleaned Scallops

1/4 cup Olive oil

2 Tablespoons Za’atar

2 Teasoppons Tajin

1 sprinkle of Maldon Salt

Thats it!

Process:

Simply place the scallops onto a serving dish. Drizzle with olive oil, then add the seasonings. Do this as close to serving as possible to keep the scallops’ integrity intact.
