Located in the “Sportfishing Capitol of the World”, our Venice program features a stay right IN the marina - literally ON the water. Though a totally unique lodge experience, your host Ryan Johnston knows we’re still set to provide angler’s with the Travel Creel trip trifecta…..

Get picked up daily on the rear deck by our guides in their boats and head out into the Mississippi River delta for easy access to incredible fishing. Fish near the mouth of the Mississippi River, head into the marsh or cruise among the nearby barrier islands in search of your next redfish. Our guide team will expertly lead you through the delta on skiffs as you line up each sight cast.

your Typical Day in Venice:

6:00 am - Coffee’s up, enjoy a cup on the upper or lower deck.

6:30 am - Load up your breakfast plate and soak in the sunrise. Finish up and stash some snacks in your Creel Chef packed Yeti lunch bag, add a local brew or two and gear up.

7:30 am - Our guide team will pick you up right on the lower deck of the lodge. Head out for an epic day of fishing.

3:30 pm - Boats arrive back at the lodge, pour yourself a celebratory cocktail. Freshen up and relax.

5:30 pm - Dig into your Creel Chef’s appetizer spread and sit down for dinner.

7:00 pm - Top off your cocktail, kick back on the decks, enjoy the sunset and head back to your room for some rest.
