The Bahamas is a collection of islands, existing as an archipelagic state.

An archipelago is a cluster or chain of islands. While referred to as islands, most are actually their own grouping of islands, forming multiple separate archipelagos.

We pop-up our Andros lodge each year on the central third of the island.
