“steel-heading” is never easy. There is no other way around saying that. Why do it? This is the perfect example of risk-reward fishing.
Fish soft seams, inside bends, tailouts. Steelhead hold where they don’t have to fight current so be ready for some aggresive takes in soft water.

The Oregon Coast became our first ever pop-up location. We’re honoring our favorite Pacific Northwest destination with a return to the classics. Come along in 2026 for this epic swing only steelhead adventure!
Fly into Portland International Airport and we will shuttle you to the lodge. Each year, our pop-up features comfortable accommodations in a location with the best access to the best rivers and streams.
The drive over to the lodge showcases the Pacific Northwest at its finest. Once at the lodge, our on-site Creel Crew will pull out all the stops. Your private Creel chef starts with a full spread of appetizers featuring the finest local ingredients. Get your room assignment, settle in, pour yourself a cocktail before sitting down to dinner.
