If you’re left thinking, wow, this would make for a great film…. So are we. The story writes itself.

That’s precisely what we are going to do, and you’re all a really meaningful part of it.

• We’ll participate in a series of daily and overall trip challenges that put us ALL to the test.

• The main goal, though, is to HAVE FUN!

• Arrive in Baja via your choice of either La Paz International Airport (LAP) or Los Cabos International Airport (SJD). La Paz is 45 minutes from the lodge, while the Cabo airport is about 2.5 hours away. Samantha is happy to assist with choosing flights!

• Our shuttle drivers pick you up, and drive you to our lodge.

• The main lodge is our headquarters, a spacious beachfront property in La Ventana. Features include cliff-side hammocks, a large pool with a swim-up bar, and more!

• Your accommodations for 5 nights are set in tranquil La Ventana. We take you all out to enjoy dinner at a local restaurant or our favorite taco truck most nights. Lodging, plus all meals are included for each angler.

• Each of you will fish 4 days in Bahia de Los Muertos with our expert guide team, headed up by Juan Lucero. Truly the best guide team in all of Baja!

• Your hosts, Joshua and Samantha Schwartz, will fish 3 days along with their teammates, and then spend the final day preparing for the end of trip BBQ.

• Our final night together starts with us heading right down the road from the lodge, where our guide team meets us for a group photo at the La Ventana sign.

• The entire Lucero guide crew and their families then join us at the lodge for a truly E-P-I-C fiesta, featuring a fantastic local band.

• It’s not the main point of the trip. Period.

• For our industry week, we typically charge a nominal fee that covers the majority of our costs for each spot on the trip. We don’t make money on our industry week. That’s not the point.

• We do this trip in order to spotlight this incredible fishery, for other industry individuals to enjoy it, and to have fun.

• You’ve been chosen because we know you will share about your experience while on this slightly modified Creel adventure with your friends, followers and clients. Plus we want to fish with you, and know you’ll be an asset to the team! Or maybe you’ll just be really fun to hang out with. . . . Probably all of the above.

• Rather than request payment from each of you to cover some of our costs for the trip, we have thought up some sponsorship options that you can bring to partners of yours. There are really cool perks for any sponsor you bring in, too!

• We won’t make anything off of this trip, because it’s about hanging out with great folks, fishing, and having fun. Oh, and winning.
